As with many of our projects, the inspiration behind the design of the k100 Villa comes from the clients themselves. We had a request for a private haven here.
Located in Kuwait’s Mansurya district, k110 Villa is a secluded retreat emphasizing the need for a private sanctuary. Privacy is an absolute necessity, so the design team worked to integrate all elements within the project’s walls rather than around them.
Interior features revolve around an indoor pool surrounded by colonnades and screens to frame specific views and evoke specific moods according to the per-ception of the space. In addition, the stone and wood cladding and subsequent textures and lighting were designed to give the project different perceptions and moods depending on the time of day and light intensity. The result is solitude that conveys robustness on the outside while preserving harmony and tranquility on the inside.
